Biography:  Bonanza High School Graduate 2002 (Las Vegas, NV).  Valedictorian.  Attended BYU Idaho 2002 – 2004.  Married Jake Puzey.  Attended BYU Hawaii 2004 – 2006.  Ran two seasons of Cross Country. Coached Kahuku High School track and cross country teams. Graduated with B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science.  Son – Cairo Ezekiel Puzey.  Current coach of Hermiston High School cross country and track teams

 

Motivation for running/competing:  Bettering myself through goals.

 

Career Highlights: 

 

Number 2 all-time BYU Hawaii 5K list.

 

BYU Hawaii XC MVP 2005

 

Coached Kahuku High School track teams to 3^rd and 1^st place finishes at the Hawaii State Track Meet.  Coached first complete cross country team to their first appearance at a state meet.

 

Coached athlete to two individual state track titles.

 

Winner: 2007 Wheatfield Half-Marathon 1:20

 

Winner: 2007 Adidas Helvetia Half-Marathon 1:21

 

Team member of 2007 Ragnar Northwest Passage Relay champions.

 

2007 Catherine Creek Classic 5K Champion: 17:53

 

 

Goals:  Continue to improve my times and my endurance so that I can continue running and enjoying it.
